1. Invest in Justin Fields, let the defense come

The Chicago Bears are going to be in a spot where their roster has holes throughout. The 2018 defense is gone, and many of their defensive stars are aging out. Others are going to be moving on when this new staff comes in.

The Bears have always been a franchise that prided itself on their defensive star talent. However, this year the defensive talent can wait. With a quarterback in Justin Fields, they need to go all-in on offense.

They have Larry Borom and Teven Jenkins, but if the right tackle is available, they should not hesitate. They have to add to the interior line, wide receiver, and they can add depth anywhere.

dark. Next. Bears should not hire these coaches

The defense may suffer in 2022 if they do not put many resources into it. However it would be worth it if the offense took a step forward in 2022, and they entered 2023 knowing that they have a great unit with the chance to then bring in defensive talent the following year.
