The Chicago Bears will be moving on from Andy Dalton after his one season in Chicago did not quite go the way that he or fans wanted. While Dalton will never be the elite starter carrying a team, he is still a valuable quarterback in a league where the position remains a premium.

The way that he posed as a mentor for Justin Fields, and was always professional will go a long way. With that in mind, someone is going to bring him to make things a bit more interesting in their quarterback room.

Who are the five most likely teams?

5. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers feel like the Chicago Bears of years past. They need a quarterback, and it reeks so bad that everyone can smell it. They had an absolute nightmare of a season at the position, and now they enter 2022 without a heap of cap picks, and with a fifth-year contract already locked in for Sam Darnold.

They are desperate, but cannot maneuver the ways they want. This makes DeShaun Watson and players such as that harder for them to get than other teams. The Chicago Bears struck out on a home run and went back to old reliable in Andy Dalton.

It appears as though Carolina is going to swing big, and if they miss, a training camp battle between Sam Darnold and Andy Dalton could remind Chicago Bears fans of Nick Foles taking on Mitch Trubisky.
