1. Jahan Dotson, Penn State

When you see the schools from the other players listed, Dotson stands out a bit coming from the Big 10. This makes him the most notable prospect of the group, and he is expected to stand out from the group in ways that Cooper Kupp and Deebo Samuel did in past Senior Bowl showcases.

Dotson is a rather refined receiver who should come in with all of the nuances and timing of route running to stand out in these settings. Dotson also has a wide catch radius that could get him some hype throughout the media.

However, the questions with Dotson will be his high-end speed, and what he can bring deep down the field. Beyond that, when he does get jammed, can he beat the press without being the first one to release, or getting a cushion?

A player with a comparable skillset to Dotson would be Amon-Ra St. Brown. who is a shifty route runner with sure hands over the middle of the field, but also an ability to break tackles, Still, his limited physical upside pushed him down draft boards. The reliability of St. Brown as a rookie should help ease concerns and have coaches focusing on what he can do, and not what he cannot.
