The Chicago Bears could pursue free agent wide receiver Zach Pascal

One of the more underrated wide receivers over the past four seasons in the NFL, Zach Pascal, will be entering free agency in just a few weeks. Pascal came out of Old Dominion back in 2017 and went undrafted. His story, from there, got a bit difficult.

Pascal spent time with Washington over the summer of 2017 before he was cut without having a chance to see Week 1. He was then signed to the Titans’ practice squad but never appeared in a game.

Fast forward and Pascal made the Indianapolis Colts’ roster in 2018, and the rest is history. He’s become a dependable receiver in Indianapolis and has proven to make some of the more difficult catches over the last four seasons. At 6-foot-2, Pascal provides great size as an outside receiver but can also play the slot.

In four years with the Colts, he’s been mostly the number three or four wide receiver, but he’s gotten plenty of action. For his career, Pascal has caught 150 passes for 1,888 yards and 15 touchdowns.

His best seasons came in 2019 and 2020 when he topped the 600-yard mark in both years. Pascal would come cheap and would be an extremely valuable asset as a third or fourth option in Chicago.
