Free Agent Ryan Poles Could Bring to the Chicago Bears: Orlando Brown, OT

One of the names I would love to see come to Chicago this offseason is Orlando Brown. Right now, it appears that the Chiefs will likely be retaining Orlando Brown by either signing him to an extension or possibly even franchise tagging him.

A move that I would be very interested in seeing is Ryan Poles bringing in a proven left tackle like Orlando Brown and then moving Teven Jenkins either to guard or right tackle. If Jenkins goes to right tackle, then Larry Borom could be moved to guard instead. The offensive line needs to be revamped — whatever that may look like. For example, Sam Mustipher cannot remain as the starting center, Cody Whitehair would be worth trading if for the right price and the team needs to decide on what to do with James Daniels.

The most important thing Ryan Poles must do is find more talent to improve a weakness that is the offensive line. Orlando Brown would not come cheap, but the Chiefs traded for him last year while Ryan Poles was still part of the executive staff and it would not shock me if he tries to bring him to Chicago if he hits the open market.
