6. Jalen Nailor, WR, Michigan State

The Chicago Bears did already draft a wide receiver, but we noted in the pre-draft that if there were a position to see a team double up on it could be a wide receiver. Velus Jones has upside, but could also be just a special team’s asset, so the Bears should want to continue to fill the room with depth on day three.

That would mean somebody such as Jalen Nailor. Nailor is worth looking into mainly because the Chicago Bears brought him to Halas Hall before the draft. They wanted to see if he was a fit, and if they were comfortable taking a chance on a wide receiver on day three.

Nailor has the upside that could have seen him taken earlier but he can never stay healthy. When he is on the field, he has speed that can stretch the field and that is exactly what the team has been looking for.

Nailor is a player expected to fall into this range, so keep an eye on what happens with him on day three of the 2022 NFL Draft.
