1. David Montgomery Over/Under 10 total TD with 2022 Chicago Bears

For his career, he has averaged eight touchdowns per season, with seven rushing touchdowns per season, and one receiving touchdown per season. He had 10 as is his career-high in 2020, and had just seven in the following two years.

This one could come down to money and leverage. Touchdowns are the most scheme-specific stat considering the Bears could simply use Khalil Herbert towards the goalline. Keeping his touchdowns down would keep his cost down, though.

It would also get Herbert in high leverage situations, which would prepare him for if Montgomery left, so it is not just a cold decision.

Beyond that, as noted, he is not going to be a huge impact in the passing game. His career-high Is two receiving touchdowns and last season he did not catch one. When you add in that they added Evans and Ebner, he will not be schemed screens or any targets near the red zone.

He is more likely to have seven rushings and one receiving and be right in line than to explode with four receiving touchdowns after three in as many years. This is another one where we have to lean under.
