Chicago Bears 2022 Schedule: Weeks 4 through 6

Week 4: Chicago Bears @ Giants

I am and always will be a big Saquan Barkley fan. It still hurts watching him cut through the Bears’ defense late in their 2019 matchup, leading to a Giants victory. In fact, the Giants seem to somehow have the Bears’ number at times when they shouldn’t. This season, I don’t foresee that happening. The Giants have a better general manager and head coach this season, but I find the Bears’ defense to be too talented to allow the Giants’ offense to put up a significant number of points. The Bears come away with their third victory.

Week 5: Chicago Bears @ Vikings

With the team sitting at 3-1 on the season, I think they get a little too cocky. This can happen with a younger roster at times. Even though I think the Bears have the ability to win this game, they will fall just short and lose their second game of the season. The good news is that I believe the Chicago Bears will split the season vs. the Vikings and although they lose this away game, I fully expect them to win later at home.

Week 6: Chicago Bears vs Commanders

The Bears’ schedule is much easier on paper this season than last season. I am not a believer or fan of Carson Wentz. The Commanders have a similar roster from a talent perspective in my opinion. Terry Mclaurin is only slightly better than Darnell Mooney. The Bears running game should be much better than Washington’s and the defense is probably about equal. Once again, I trust an unproven Justin Fields to outplay the likes of Wentz. This will lead the Bears to another victory this season.

Bears record through six games: 4-2
