Luke Getsy failed in every regard to utilize a dominant run game and turn those runs into heavy-hitting play-action plays. It is simply not possible to win games against a Super Bowl contender in the Green Bay Packers by throwing the ball 11 times a game, especially when you’re not able to catch the defense off guard on play action when they should be selling out to stop the run game. David Montgomery averaged 8.1 yards per carry and Khalil Herbert averaged nearly 10 yards per carry yet the Bears didn’t have a single impact on play action all night.

As I said, it’s not possible to win games by only running the ball, especially against good teams.
