1. Who will defend Brandin Cooks?

When the Chicago Bears take on the Houston Texans the name of the game will be how many snaps Brandin Cooks gets away from Jaylon Johnson. Naturally, based on where Cooks has lined up through two weeks, he would spend 68% of the snaps away from Johnson, who plays his one side of the field.

However, if the Houston Texans see the game plan from the Green Bay Packers, they could certainly crank that number up this week.

In fact, Brandin Cooks has been more productive from the slot this season than he has been anywhere else. He has five catches for 93 yards from the slot, and six catches for 43 yards on the outside.

Jaylon Johnson is not a player who profiles to be a slot type, so the Chicago Bears could be seeing plenty of Kyler Gordon against Brandin Cooks. Kyler Gordon struggled with the likes of Allen Lazard and Sammy Watkins. While it is Aaron Rodgers and not Davis Mills, it is now a huge step up knowing he will be seeing plenty of Brandin Cooks.

Mills is best against zone, and best when he is sure that only four men are coming. This will give him the time to see Brandin Cooks get open in the slot, and it could lead to some big plays for the Houston Texans. It just so happens that the Texans moving their top wide receiver around, and having a quarterback best against zone and four-man rushes is a nice matchup for them against the Chicago Bears.
