1. Robert Quinn vs. Dalvin Cook

No one needs to tell you the Chicago Bears run defense is bad. However, it is interesting to note that the defense actually can hold its own up the gut, but they get torched outside the tackles.

It does not help when Aaron Jones and Saquon Barkley are some of the best outside runners in the NFL. but at the same time, when Dalvin Cook is coming into town things will not change. While the Chicago Bears are allowing nearly six yards per carry outside the tackles.

Meanwhile, Dalvin Cook is picking up 5.1 yards per carry outside the tackles. We may not see Justin Jefferson explode because it is too easy to pick up five or six every snap with Cook.

Cook has 61 rushes this season and 42 have gone to the outside. More shocking than that is that 31 of those 42 have gone to the left tackle. That is the worst case for the Chicago Bears.

Robert Quinn may be the worst-run defender on the team. He also lines up exclusively against the left tackle and does not move around. So, half of the runs that Cook has had this season go straight at the Chicago Bears’ worst run defender.

Robert Quinn is going to have his hands full and has to step up or else the Chicago Bears are going to get destroyed on the ground by Dalvin Cook.
