Chicago Bears Overreaction No. 1: Justin Fields is the most electric quarterback in the NFL

Honestly, is this even an overreaction?

In an away game against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, Justin Fields went 13/21 for 179 yards, one TD, and one [helmet deflection] INT.

On top of that, he rushed the ball 14 times for 82 yards and a TD.

On top of all that, he had a cool dance after his rushing touchdown, and that counts almost as much as the touchdown itself, especially regarding the claim of the most electric quarterback in the league.

When things are going well for Justin Fields, it’s art in motion.

The way he can escape a pocket that seems to be crumbling on every play, it’s almost on the verge of being censored due to how filthy it is.

And while these might be slight overreactions, the questions about Justin Fields seem to be diminishing by the week.

He’s not a perfect quarterback by any means, but considering the surrounding talent, anything positive he does should be seen as close to a miracle.

If only the Bears can get Fields a guy like Quentin Johnston, Jordan Addison, or *unlikely* Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Justin Fields is going to make a handful of teams upset they passed on him.

This game could also be proof that Justin Fields is the best Monday Night quarterback in history.
