Chicago Bears vs Dolphins features familiar faces in new places

Dolphins bolster offense and defense ahead of Bears game
The Miami Dolphins were also very involved at the trade deadline and made some major changes to their roster ahead of their game against the Bears.
Miami traded a first-round pick and running back Chase Edmonds to the Denver Broncos for edge rusher Bradley Chubb. Chubb joins Jaelan Phillips and Melvin Ingram in the edge rusher rotation and strengthens a defense that compliments an explosive Dolphins’ offense.
Chubb, the number-five selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, hopes to add pass rush to an already solid defense that includes multiple star defensive backs in Xavien Howard, Byron Jones, and Jevon Holland. In an AFC playoff race that hosts quarterbacks such as Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow, there is a premium on the ability to rush the quarterback. The Dolphins hope that Chubb will be the missing piece to pressure these stars.
While the Dolphins traded away Edmonds in the deal to acquire Bradley Chubb, they also acquired running back Jeff Wilson Jr from the San Francisco 49ers for a fifth-round pick. Wilson, who played for the 49ers run game coordinator and current Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, rejoins his coach after the 49ers ended up with a surplus of running backs with the addition of Christian McCaffrey.
With Wilson, the Dolphins look to add dimension to a pass-happy offense led by Tua Tugavailoa, Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Mike Gesicki. While Wilson may not get a large number of touches this week, the Chicago Bears defense will certainly have their hands full against a dynamic offense without former captains Robert Quinn and Roquan Smith.
