The Chicago Bears will score 32 touchdowns or more in the second half

As of now, the Chicago Bears only have 16 total touchdowns to their name this season. That is not enough scoring. Things have looked better over the last two weeks as the team has scored 40% of their total points in just those two weeks. Well, the Bears’ offense has been moving along nicely as of late and I am giving a bold prediction that they double their touchdown total from the first half. That’s right, I have them scoring 32 total touchdowns in the second half — giving them 48 total touchdowns on the year.

Now, that isn’t enough scoring if we are being honest. 48 total touchdowns would be 13 touchdowns less than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished with last year. However, the Super Bowl champions of last season, the Rams, only finished with 51 total touchdowns in the regular season.

I am also expecting Justin Fields’ passing numbers to look much better from a ratio standpoint. Right now, Fields has seven passing touchdowns and six interceptions. That said, he has thrown five of those seven touchdowns over the last four games and only has two interceptions. If Fields continues on this path, he should finish with roughly 21 passing touchdowns and nine interceptions. Not bad based on how the team started.
