4. Chicago Bears have a future in Teven Jenkins

Teven Jenkins was a player who did hit the pleasant surprise list through the quarter point of the season. Still, at that point, the surprise was that he was not cut, and was actually being trusted to play.

It is crazy that was just a month ago, but here we are. Teven Jenkins went from splitting time with Lucas Patrick to getting his first run as a starting guard. This came right before the end of the first quarter, but now that he is has settled into his role, he has become the Chicago Bears’ best lineman.

So, he went from a trade candidate to a part-time player with flashes to a starter, and now he Is the building block of the offensive line moving forward. It is hard to say any of the other four are guaranteed anything beyond this season, but Jenkins will surely be the starting right guard next season.

It happened quickly, but it is pretty obvious at this point that Jenkins has already sealed his fate, and won over the new coaching staff.
