Justin Fields looks like the Chicago Bears franchise QB, while Aaron Rodgers struggles

When we dive into the stats over the last five weeks, it is clear that Justin FIelds has been more dominant. Remember, the Bears played against slightly better opponents, yet Fields has put together elite-type numbers over the last five games.

Justin FIelds Average Stats Over Last 5 Games

Average Passing Yards per Game: 170
Average Rushing Yards per Game: 91
Average Total Yards per Game: 261
Average Completion Percentage: 63.96%
Total Passing Touchdowns: 8
Total Rushing Touchdowns: 3
Total Interceptions: 2
Average QB Rating: 100.42

Aaron Rodgers Stats Over Last 5 Games

Average Passing Yards per Game: 231
Average Rushing Yards per Game: 10
Average Total Yards per Game: 241
Average Completion Percentage: 62.01
Total Passing Touchdowns: 8
Total Rushing Touchdowns: 0
Total Interceptions: 4
Average QB Rating: 85.66

If we look just at passing yards, Aaron Rodgers still eclipses Justin Fields by a wide margin. However, if we look at everything else, Fields looks to be the better quarterback of the two. From a total yards standpoint, Fields has Rodgers by 20 yards per game. He is even slightly better than Rodgers in completion percentage. They both have thrown eight touchdowns, but Fields has added three rushing touchdowns. Fields has also thrown two less interceptions during this span. Finally, Fields has averaged just over 100 in QB rating, while Rodgers is barlely over 85.

Chicago Bears fans should be excited to see Justin Fields performing this well and even more excited about the fact that Aaron Rodgers is drastically struggling throughout the same span.
