As the Chicago Bears head out of the bye week, they will still be looking to improve. While fans want to take, these players are built to work hard every day to improve themselves and that is not going to change, After getting an extra week to rest, recover and look back on things, these players should be in a position to perform after the bye week.

5. Chicago Bears fans should be excited to watch Justin Fields

Fans afraid that Justin Fields will get injured will live in fear their whole lives. The reality is that Justin Fileds is healthy and as a team leader, he will go out and compete with his brothers until he cannot.

Beyond that, while Fields is proving to be electric, he can still improve his game, and there is no better time than live game action. The Chicago Bears did not run Justin Fields nearly as much in his first game after the injury, and he should continue to pass or even throw the ball away before taking big hits.

Still, we want to see Fields better pocket control, quicker decision-making, and the ability to get through all of his reads. This will come by asking Fields to stay in the pocket and avoid pressure with improved pocket mechanics.

While teams like Philadelphia and Buffalo will be tough, they also present chances to pass in catch-up mode. Beyond that, the Lions and Vikings are set up for shootouts. The team may lose, but Fields may continue to take serious steps.

We saw how great he can be with his legs, and now if we see real improvement with his arm, we could be talking about serious hype heading into the 2023 season. That is more than enough to watch for the rest of the year.
