James Rowe already took a job at South Florida. The move appears to include a passing game coordinator role, but overall he is just moving from defensive backs to safeties. This is not a huge promotion, and from the NFL to South Florida tells you that the Chicago Bears may have told him that it would be in his best interest to take that job.

So, we will look at the safety coach. There may be a reason the cornerback’s coach is leaving, but the safeties coach will stay. You can look at the fan’s hope in Jaquan Brisker compared to Kyler Gordon to see which coach was doing better. Brisker was drafted later, but Gordon had some real lows, and by the end of the season, he did not finish on a high.
