The Chicago Bears could make this trade with the Las Vegas Raiders

There’s no secret that the Chicago Bears need an elite wide receiver. Who better to bring to Chicago than Davante Adams? Imagine, Adams, catching passes from Justin Fields to put the Bears over the top of the Green Bay Packers next season. Adams’ age is a bit worrisome, but moving down from first overall to seventh, still allows the team to land a top prospect. Myles Murphy or Bryan Bresee could make for solid backup options to Will Anderson and Jalen Carter.

A trade like this still gives Matt Eberflus a new defensive toy that will improve the defensive line immediately. A trade like this gives the Chicago Bears a wide receiver who caught 100 balls for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns. He did this with a Raiders team that struggled. He just turned 30 in December and 30-year-old wide receivers have fallen off fast, but Adams looks to be an outlier.

Adams may want to push for a trade now that Derek Carr looks to be on the outs. The Raiders could revitalize their organization by moving up for the top quarterback prospect. Chicago would get another second-round pick that is not too far off from the one they traded to the Steelers for Chase Claypool. I’m not sold on a trade like this for Ryan Poles and the Bears though. Let’s see what else is out there.
