Chicago Bears biggest free agent signings

In this article, we went into further detail, but you can break the Ryan Poles free agency run into about 10 signings for the Chicago Bears. There were a few players he added for less than one million. That was a B+ grade. Then, there was Equanimeous St. Brown, an easy A for price and return.

Poles got an F for his backup quarterback selection and a D for Ryan Griffin. However, Nicholas Morrow was an A, and Riley Reiff was a C.

Lucas Patrick had injury issues, but the signing was still a D+ all things considered. Al-Quadin Muhamad got a D-, Byron Pringle got an F, and Justin Jones finished things as the highest-paid free agent. We gave that decision a B.

Morrow, Justin Jones, and Equanimeous St. Brown saved him. What also saved him was the limited resources that he put into his group. Even Pringle and Muhammad were in the $5M range, although they were still bad signings.

So, overall from the first free agency, we give Ryan Poles a C-. It was not great, not awful, and we realize this year will probably come with a different mindset. His overall grade drops to a C+.
