2. Chicago Bears also need to look at the offensive line
The defensive line had all eyes on them, but they did not win as much as you wanted them to. That is because the offensive line was just better through most of the week. The Chicago Bears’ defensive line is awful, but the offensive line needs help, too.
At tackle, Jaelyn Duncan from Maryland came in with something to prove. His stock slipped a bit during his Senior Year, but a strong week playing left and right tackle may have sparked it back up. Matthew Bergeron from Syracuse played both sides as well and looked like one of the best linemen at the event.
Then, there is the group at right tackle. It does not look like Dawand Jones will play, but Darnell Wright and Warren McClendon will. Both are huge bodies at right tackle that could be attractive options.
Cody Mauch is a tackle in college but spent most of his week transitioning to guard. We will see how that looks in-game action. Then, the big winners from the line play were O’Cyrus Torrence, John-Michael Schmitz, and Asim Richards. All three have improved their stock, and may be able to keep growing that glow.
