Did Dawand Jones play himself into round one?

Dawand Jones had the best first day of all of the players at the Senior Bowl. He did not lose a rep, and showed that despite being 375 pounds, he actually could move well, and carried the weight well.

Jones had an undisclosed injury and was out for the rest of the week, but if we are being honest, he really did not need to show much more after his dominant first day. Despite the similar size, it was quite obvious how different he looked compared to Daniel Faalele from last year. Jones can really move at that size.

This may be another player who once was in contention for pick 54, but now is seeing his stock rise a bit higher.

Considering his freakish size, and movement ability, he probably will see his stock rise once we hit the NFL combine. He is not the type of player who is going to fall down draft boards at this point. Perhaps pulling out of the Senior Bowl early helped, but it will still be a stretch.

Still, the need at right tackle is there for the Chicago Bears, and it would be a great fit.
