9. Could Arizona Cardinals unload Hollywood Brown on Chicago Bears

The Arizona Cardinals traded a first-round pick for Hollywood Brown. The pick was not far off from A.J. Brown, but the outcome was not quite the same. The one benefit for the Cardinals trading for Brown was that he still had his fifth-year option, while the Eagles already extended A.J. Brown.

Still, the Cardinals GM who made the trade is gone, and so is the head coach. Now, they have Hollywood Brown on a one-year deal for $13M. Maybe the new GM re-signs him, and maybe the new GM lets him play on that option year and then decides what to do. Still, he could risk losing him.

What could realistically happen is that Hollywood Brown gets to play for his third team in as many years. The Chicago Bears could add Brown for significantly less than Chase Claypool. They could have both of them on the last year of their deal, and let the better player get the extension at the end of the year. If Brown works out, they pretend that he was the 32nd pick in trade value.

Hollywood Brown is a big play threat, but his size limits his overall upside, and he drops a lot of passes. Still, his deep speed would be a great fit with Justin Fields and depending on the draft pick, it is something the team could easily afford.
