The Chicago Bears' regular season is still under three months away, but the team still has some roster decisions to make.

Training camp will help with a lot of those, as they have to figure out if their rookies and younger guys will step up before looking at the veterans. Some of those veterans better watch themselves, or they could be out the door.

There are four Bears players who look poised to be trade candidates in 2026. Here's a look at who could be out of the Windy City in 2026.

Cole Kmet, TE

Let's get the obvious out of the way. Kmet has been in this seat for quite some time, as he was a trade and cut candidate all throughout the offseason. The Bears are loaded at tight end with rookie third-round pick Sam Roush there, plus the team could save about $1.3 million by offloading him.

Chicago could look to get a Day 3 selection for Kmet as a potential starter elsewhere. The Carolina Panthers have been a name connected with Kmet all offseason.

Dayo Odeyingbo, DE

While it may not be a great conversation to have, the Bears should be open to trading Odeyingbo away. His one sack in eight games last year, with the injury, put a sour taste in Bears fans' mouths.

It is going to be a tough challenge to convince another team to take on his three-year, $48 million contract, but the Bears could save $16 million in 2026 by doing it. This is one if the Bears want to trade Odeyingbo and something like a fourth-round pick for a later Day 3 selection, it would make sense to do it as it is more about salary cap savings and using that extra $16 million to land someone like Maxx Crosby.

Garrett Bradbury, C

The Bears did just trade for Bradbury back in February, but if rookie center Jones shows his skills in training camp, it might be hard to ignore the idea of moving on from the veteran. Bradbury is great insurance for Chicago after Drew Dalman's retirement, and moving him could be a bit of a risk.

Many reporters who cover the Baltimore Ravens have extensively covered the team trading for Bradbury. If the Bears can take advantage of the Ravens' desperation at center and get a fourth-round pick, they should start the Jones era early.

Tyrique Stevenson, CB

The inconsistent play in 2025 was not a great look for Stevenson and was made even worse when he was completely benched in favor of Nahshon Wright. Now Stevenson has a training camp position battle that is about to occur at CB2 as he needs to beat out rookie fourth-round pick Malik Muhammad.

If Muhammad ends up emerging and playing well, it could open the door for Stevenson to be sent packing, as he is in the final year of his rookie deal. Sending him to a place where he could be a CB2 or CB3 elsewhere might be the best course of action in exchange for a Day 3 pick.
