Ravens insider "keeps coming back" to Baltimore calling Bears about veteran

Would the Bears consider it?

The Chicago Bears appear to have a really good situation going on at center after losing their Pro Bowler, Drew Dalman, in the offseason, which could end up helping them out.

After Dalman shockingly retired from the NFL during the offseason, the Bears traded for veteran Garrett Bradbury and selected Logan Jones in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Those moves have led The Athletic Baltimore Ravens reporter Jeff Zrebiec to keep pushing on the idea of the team calling the Bears to make a trade for Bradbury.

"I keep coming back to Garrett Bradbury...played under Dwayne Ledford at NC State... Patriots went to the Super Bowl with him... He's solid, that's fine after improving at left guard and right guard. Are the Bears giving him up? I think you'll have to overpay."

Ravens insider wants the team to call the Bears for Garrett Bradbury

So far out of OTAs, all indications are that Bradbury is doing well as he takes ownership of the center position. Bears head coach Ben Johnson has been complimentary of Bradbury for being vocal as the starter.

Chicago is in a unique situation where Bradbury and Jones are both starting-caliber centers, with Bradbury as the short-term solution and Jones as the long-term solution. The Bears don't really seem to want to rush Jones out there, especially since they just traded for Bradbury just a few months ago.

It all depends on what the Ravens would offer the Bears for Bradbury, as it would probably have to include anything from a third- or fourth-round pick in 2027 to get him. Chicago likes Bradbury and what he brings to the table, but could take advantage of Baltimore's center situation and the desperation that comes with it.

The Bears might have a chance to get some good value out of Bradbury in a trade if they wanted to entertain the idea. If the Ravens go all in and give them a good enough draft pick, the Bears would be crazy not to entertain the proposal and help build their team for the future.
