4. How much should the Bears worry about Jaquan Brisker's concussion and how does it impact his future with the team?

The surprising news that safety Jaquan Brisker would not make the trip to London after reporting concussion-like symptoms came about the same time the Bears were ready to leave for London on Monday night. On Wednesday, general manager Ryan Poles officially ruled him out of this game.

Brisker has a history of concussions. In his rookie season in 2022, he missed two games following the Atlanta Falcons game where he was checked twice for concussion during the game. Then last year, he also missed two games with a concussion. The Bears lost all four games while he was out.

Brisker missing games due to concussion for a third-straight season is a cause for concern. Also he will be a free agent after next season and it could play a factor into whether the Bears or other teams will sign him long-term.

With the Bears entering the bye week after this Sunday, let's hope he can fully recover and is cleared for the Washington game on October 27th. His presence will be needed.
