The Chicago Bears started off Sunday's week six action by defiantly taking down the Jacksonville Jaguars to the score 35-16. Their second straight three-score victory and their third win in a row in total, Sunday provided a great opportunity for the Bears to build upon their early momentum before the bye week, and the team capitalized from across the pond.

Still, the story goes beyond the final score, so let's take a look at the six stats that defined the team's week six win over the Jaguars:

After two three-and-outs to start the game, the Bears were down 3-0 quickly in Sunday's matchup, but promptly went on a 21-point scoring streak that effectively put the game out of reach early in the second half.

From the 4:37 mark in the first quarter to the 6:02 mark in the third quarter, the Bears' defense shut down the Jaguars' offense entirely. Meanwhile, Caleb Williams led his offense to three scoring drives, two of which ended with touchdowns to Cole Kmet with the third coming on a needle-threading end-zone pass to Keenan Allen.

The Bears' domination during this roughly two-quarter stretch provided an ultimately insurmountable advantage for the eventual victors, and the team should look to continue to find their stride earlier in games coming out of the bye week.

Following the Bears' scoring streak, the Jaguars brought the game back to within two possessions with a late third-quarter touchdown, but the Bears offense answered with a score of their own - Allen's second receiving touchdown of the day - thanks in large part to 3 defensive penalties.

Due in large part to a 12-men on defense call and two holding infractions from Ronald Darby, the Bears were able to reestablish their lead at 18 points, a margin the Jaguars were never able to tighten from that point forward.

In recent weeks, the Bears have been the team to struggle with penalties, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but this single drive ultimately became a back-breaker for the Jaguars. Sometimes, it's best to learn from other's mistakes, and the Bears offense saw firsthand a great example of how much of a drive-killer (or extender) penalties can be.

After losing long snapper Scott Daly early in the first quarter, tight end Cole Kmet had to take over the long snapping duties on special teams, which became a major storyline as he was relied upon for 5 PATs.

Kmet himself was one of two players to have two receiving touchdowns alongside Allen, and with D'Andre Swift's goalline score to end the game for the Bears, Kmet ended up being a crucial member of the team's success, on both offense and special teams.

Kmet had mentioned his role as the emergency long snapper earlier this season on The Eighty-Five with Cole Kmet, a show he hosts weekly with CHGO Sports. Kmet acknowledged that he practices his long-snapping skills - which Matt Eberflus confirmed in a mid-game interview - and even semi-joked that he could pivot to being a full-time long-snapper when the treads on his tight-end wheels run out.
