Chicago Bears fans are pretty much over all this back-and-forth about what's going to happen with the new stadium, which is still trying to get built.

The Bears are trying to decide whether to keep the new stadium in Illinois and build in Arlington Heights or move to Indiana and build it in Hammond. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter just gave the fan base an estimated timeframe of when a decision could be made.

"The Chicago Bears will decide where to build their new stadium in the next few weeks, per league sources. If Illinois doesn’t pass legislation for Arlington Heights soon, sources believe the Bears are likely to be Indiana bound. Two proposed sites in Chicago are not considered feasible, per sources; next to Soldier Field for political reasons, and the land known as Michael Reese was evaluated and rejected by the NFL and the Bears."

Bears close to the end with making decision on new stadium

This has been a massive headache for everyone within the Bears fan base to see the chaos this has caused. It went from Arlington Heights being the location to all of a sudden the Bears were moving out of the state altogether, to now having a chance to stay in Illinois.

For the Bears, it all comes down to which state makes the best offer, as Indiana has certainly gone all out to get them in its state. Illinois has shown it wants to stay in the conversation, but with concerns about tax money being used for the stadium and rising season ticket costs, the feeling is more hesitant in Illinois than in Indiana.

No matter what, this probably ends ugly for the Bears, so the fan base is ready for the band-aid to be ripped off and move on from this chaos, so they can look forward to their new dome stadium being built in the next few years.
