After the Chicago Bears' overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, there is blame to go around. But wide receiver DJ Moore is occupying his own space in the eyes of Bears' fans in the wake of a disappointing loss, after appearing to slow down his route on Caleb Williams' interception in overtime.

Further review, including Williams' explanation, allows for some nuance when it's otherwise easy to armchair quarterback a mistake in a big moment or call a player out for a lack of effort.

Still, the idea that Moore could be traded this offseason is back on the front burner in Bears' land as the offseason gets going. He has a very tradeable contract, with the majority of his money tied to salary rather than bonuses. Even coming off a down season, there are plenty of teams out there who could use a receiver of his caliber and give him a bigger role than he has in Chicago.

Bears' analyst offers a DJ Moore trade suitor Ryan Poles could fleece

In light of another result from the Divisional Round, before the loss to the Rams and the moment that has garnered ire, Bears analyst Ben Devine offered a potential trade suitor for Moore.

The Buffalo Bills lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round. They failed to take advantage of what looked like a wide-open AFC playoff bracket this year, without Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow, and head coach Sean McDermott lost his job as a result.

But Brandon Beane somehow remains as general manager in Buffalo, with the additional title of President of Football Operations. His failures in the draft since the selection of Josh Allen are something to behold, and the failure to get Allen anything close to a suitable replacement for Stefon Diggs as a WR1 stood out big this season.

The biggest wide receiver fish who could be available on the trade market this offseason is clearly A.J. Brown. It's also fair to assume Beane and the Bills won't be willing to meet the Philadelphia Eagles' asking price, or they at least won't have the best offer that's on the table.

The Bills have to do something to add a veteran wide receiver, though, and someone like Moore would be right in their wheelhouse as a lower-cost trade target than Brown. And with that, the Bears may be able to squeeze a little more out of the Bills in a trade compared to other teams that could have interest in Moore.

The Bills and their surviving general manager are set up to be taken advantage of in a wide receiver trade this offseason. With a trade chip to fill that need, the Bears are finally positioned to benefit from another organization's desperation.
