After 10 weeks of NFL football, most Chicago Bears fans now feel confident in knowing they have something special in their franchise quarterback, Caleb Williams, for multiple reasons.
Arguably, the biggest reason is that he is as clutch as they come, with four fourth quarter comebacks that have led to wins this season. There's something else the star signal caller told the media he knows helps him win games, and frustrates defensive coordinators in the NFL.
“I understand that my legs can be a spark, my legs can be a threat. I also know that (defensive) coordinators hate that.”

Williams is as special as they come, but is still a working progress
The Bears' 24-20 comeback win against the New York Giants in Week 10 is a perfect example of what aggravates defenses with Williams. He did throw for 220 yards and a touchdown, but it was what he did on the ground that made the difference. Williams finished with a season-high 63 yards, with over 50 of them coming in the fourth quarter, and his 17-yard touchdown run was the game-winner.
This season, Williams has run for 246 yards and three touchdowns. While he averaged more rushing yards per game and more yards per carry last year, Williams isn't afraid to run it in himself in the red zone, which was not seen a season ago.
Accuracy is a bit of an issue, as he is only completing 60.8% of his passes, but he is making plays that few quarterbacks can make. Bears head coach Ben Johnson is letting Williams be himself with improvised plays, as Williams is protecting the ball well and making better decisions this season than he did last.

Williams is not a finished product as a passer, and that's okay with fans, as it was expected to take some time to develop. What Williams is doing with his legs, though, is something that is incredible to see for Bears fans, who will make him a legitimate starting quarterback in this league for a long time.
