The Chicago Bears truly flexed their muscles with a dominating 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 action.
It was a game the Bears expected to win, but the way they did it is something they really haven't done all year. For the first time this season, they held their opponents out of the end zone and allowed less than 200 yards. The defense continued the dominance with three turnovers forced, but Bears quarterback Caleb Williams stole the show with his spectacular 22-yard touchdown to DJ Moore in the third quarter.
Williams spoke with the media after the game to reflect on his team's 10-4 record and the fact that it now looks like a playoff run. The second-year quarterback isn't scared of the opportunity that is ahead of them.
"I feel like we’re ready for just about anything," Williams said via 670 The Score's Chris Emma. "We’re going to go out there and fight, I do know that, and I like our chances – us vs. anybody."
Williams is relishing in the moment to play in the postseason
This Chicago team has faced a lot of criticism for beating only the bad teams and losing to the good ones. The Bears have shown they are competitive against the best teams, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. Despite losing to the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, they were competitive and had a chance to win it.
The Bears are a young team that is only recently learning to win football games, as they didn't do so much in the Matt Eberflus era. They haven't won 10 or more games since 2018, when they went 12-4.
Williams has dreamt of this moment, though, since joining Chicago last year and never really seeing that with the 5-12 finish to 2024. Bears head coach Ben Johnson has won games in the postseason and knows what it takes for a team to get there and has taught the Bears how to get there.
The final three games of the season are going to be the ultimate test for the Bears as they face the Green Bay Packers, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Detroit Lions. All three teams are in the playoff hunt and have a chance to make the Super Bowl.

It's almost not a matter of if the Bears will make the postseason because they are pretty much already in it. How they play against the other playoff contenders will determine how good a team they truly are.
