It’s the holiday season, and the Chicago Bears have given their fans a reason to be ecstatic.
The team is entering Christmas week with an 11-4 record, sitting atop the NFC North, and is currently slotted as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. The cherry on top is that Chicago just pulled off a massive win over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
The home game for the Bears turned out to be a thriller, as a fourth-quarter comeback for Chicago forced overtime, leading to a memorable walk-off touchdown. The atmosphere in Soldier Field was electric, but that energy was present wherever Bears fans were gathered. That was evident in a video of fans absolutely losing their minds in a bar after Chicago won the game.

Bears fans are erupting with joy as the team pushes towards the playoffs
One thing that can never be questioned is the loyalty of Chicago sports fans. Every year, Bears fans show up with full commitment and belief in the franchise, despite the team not giving them much to believe in in recent years. That dedication is now paying off, as Chicago is one of the top teams in the NFL.
The Bears already have a successful regular season in the bag, and they also have the necessary ingredients to make noise in the playoffs. Chicago has an opportunistic defense, an elite run game, and a quarterback and group of pass catchers who can connect on big plays at any moment. While anything can happen in the postseason, the Bears have to be respected as a serious contender.
Beyond what Chicago might accomplish this season, the most exciting thing about the current success is how early it came in this new era. Caleb Williams is only in his second season in the NFL, and Ben Johnson is only in his first season as a head coach. Despite everything being new, the Bears quickly pulled things together and are already a force.

It’s exciting to think about what Chicago will be moving forward, but it’s already clear that the Bears will give their fans many more moments to celebrate.
