Not many NFL players get career-defining moments that can change everything about their careers. Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had that moment in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers.

It happened first on fourth down on the final drive of the fourth quarter when Williams found undrafted rookie Jahdae Walker in the back of the end zone for the game-tying score. In overtime, Williams really defined his legacy with a game-winning 46-yard deep ball touchdown to wide receiver DJ Moore to give the Bears a 22-16 overtime victory over Green Bay.

Those kinds of moments can help a player build their confidence moving forward. Williams showed the swagger he has with his response to Moore's game-winning score at the end of the game.

"I knew it was good. You got that belief, you got that confidence, you got that swagger as an offense. You practice well, you hit plays like that in practice," Williams said via 670 The Score's Chris Emma. "When the play gets called and the moment comes up like that, it's time to go hit it, time to go win the game."

Williams has made major strides and is legit the Bears' franchise QB

This season has been a big one for Williams with his development as a quarterback. He has been able to show some big-time throws that the Chicago Bears have not seen in most quarterbacks that have rolled into the Windy City.

Williams has thrown for 3,400 yards and a career-high 23 touchdowns to six interceptions. He's also run for 369 yards and three touchdowns. The most important stat is that he leads all NFL quarterbacks with six fourth quarter comebacks and game-winning drives.

Accuracy remains a significant flaw in Williams' game. He's completed only 57.8% of his passes, one of the lowest rates in the NFL, but on tough throws, he's the most accurate quarterback in the league.

Now that he's gotten his team into the postseason, the Bears have the focus of winning the NFC North title with either one more win or one more Packers loss to lock it up. After that, it'll be all about making an improbable run to win a Super Bowl.

The main reason the Bears are in the position they are in is that Williams is one of the most athletically gifted quarterbacks in the NFL, who can make all the throws. Chicago truly has something special at the quarterback position, even if it isn't always the smoothest ride.
