As long as the Chicago Bears are within mathematical striking distance and Caleb Williams is out there doing his thing, no fan should ever feel like they are out of a game. After his game-tying touchdown pass against the Los Angeles Rams, who would ever doubt this team in the clutch?

On fourth down from inside LA's red zone, Williams was forced all the way back to the 40-yard line due to pressure. He just chucked it as far as he could and hoped someone in a navy and orange jersey was on the other end of this throw, and his wish was granted by Cole Kmet.

Williams' throw landed in Kmet's arms, tying the game at 17-17 with just seconds to go in regulation. The Rams didn't even bother trying to use what was left of the clock to score, sending this game to overtime.

As insane as the throw appeared on the regular broadcast, an alternate top-down view makes the play look as incredible as any play in Bears history. Williams threw it 50 yards in the air to a moving target he couldn't see, with the season over if he failed to complete that pass.

Alternate angle of Bears QB Caleb Williams' ridiculous game-tying TD is unbelievable

Williams was able to overcome some mistakes in this game, as he was intercepted twice and mustered just 10 points prior to what was one of the most improbable plays you'll see in decades. That throw is part of a trend with these Bears, as they simply refuse to die when down in the fourth quarter.

Williams, who already led one miraculous comeback this postseason against the Green Bay Packers, had more game-winning drives than any quarterback in the game during his sophomore season, and his penchant for making jaw-dropping plays when the game is on the line is the reason Chicago pushed the Rams this far.

This is also a nice redemption story for Kmet. Even after losing his starting spot and a good chunk of targets to Colston Loveland, Kmet was able to write his name in Bears history books forever as the recipient of a throw that was simply blessed from the heavens.
