Well, Chicago Bears fans were hoping for some good news for rising star wide receiver Rome Odunze, but it doesn't look like that's going to be the case.
The Bears shared their final Week 14 injury report ahead of their NFC North showdown against the Green Bay Packers. Chicago will be without three players, including Odunze (foot), cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (hip), and rookie linebacker Ruben Hyypolite II (shoulder).
This will be the first game Odunze has missed all season, after being a frequent visitor to the injury report. It will now be two straight games for Stevenson and Hyypolite as they continue to nurse their injuries.
Bears hit with a massive problem on offense
The Chicago Bears will be leaning more on DJ Moore, Luther Burden III, and Olamide Zaccheaus to be the top receivers. Watch for tight ends Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland to also get a lot more looks from Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.
Nahshon Wright has been a star at cornerback this year and will once again fill in for Stevenson as the CB2. Don't be too surprised if Wright ends up keeping the job after the type of season he has had.
While the passing game might have some troubles, the running game will feature Kyle Monangai, who has been dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him in and out of practice this week. D'Andre Swift could still end up getting more carries, but Monangai will be able to play.
Linebackers T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell are back after their absence over the last two weeks due to their injuries. How much will that hinder D'Marco Jackson and Amen Ogbongbemiga's playing time? That's the bigger question.

While the Odunze status is awful, the Bears are starting to really come into shape with the lineup, and the injury front is getting better. They will, for the most part, have their stars ready for the NFC North clash with the Packers.
