Most Chicago Bears fans are looking forward to watching the team play during the holidays, but they might be doing more than that now.

The Bears are playing on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions and on Christmas Day against the Green Bay Packers. There will be one other holiday-related piece of content Bears fans will be able to watch on television involving the team.

Hallmark and the NFL are teaming up to create a new Bears-themed movie called "Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story." This will be the third NFL team to be involved in the project, following the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, who were the first two. The Bears are the first NFC team to get their own Hallmark movie.

Bears get Hallmark movie coming out during the holidays

It was Bears head coach Ben Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland who made the announcement in a 28-second video shared on social media. Johnson promised that he and his wife would be watching.

This might not be the news Bears fans were expecting to hear, but it appears everyone is on board with this team. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been a rising star off the field after being announced as the cover athlete for the Madden 27 game coming out in August.

The hype is real for the Bears, as everyone was a piece of the team. It's unusual for the team to get this kind of attention, but with an exciting 2025 season with an 11-6 record and one of the best offenses in the NFL, this is a team that is easily marketable.

More could be coming for this Bears team, but fans are starting to get a lot of the same vibes from the Super Bowl Shuffle days in the 80s.
