Here we go again. More injury problems for the Chicago Bears that could cause some more headaches for the franchise.
ESPN Bears reporter Courtney Cronin shared her observations from the team's practice on Wednesday, noting some notable players were missing. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and safety Jaquan Brisker were not on the practice field with the team.
Another player to monitor is right tackle Darnell Wright, who has been dealing with his elbow injury, was on a separate practice field. Kicker Cairo Santos was also separate from the players as he was working with a specialist; his status as to what happened is unknown. Whether this is good news for Wright and Santos or not remains to be seen.
The good news is that guys like Kyler Gordon, T.J. Edwards, and Colston Loveland, who have been dealing with injuries, were practicing.
There is new concerns from the Bears fan base entering important Monday night game
Jarrett has already missed time with the Bears as he didn't play in their last game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is desperately needed after the defense surrendered 240 yards on the ground in that same game. They have been one of the weakest rushing defenses in the NFL.
Brisker not being at practice is concerning, especially since he missed significant time last year with his concussion. Bears fans can't afford to lose him after all the injuries that have occurred from the secondary, including Gordon and Jaylon Johnson.
Santos's mystery is interesting, as the Bears at least have Jake Moody on their practice squad in case something drastic happens to Santos. That would be a tough blow after Moody's bad start to the season with the San Francisco 49ers, which got him cut in the first place.
The Bears are already going through some transition with the offensive line, so Wright being out might not be the worst thing in the world. Wright might be afforded more time to rest while Ozzy Trapilo fills in at right tackle, and Theo Benedet is being rumored as the starter at left tackle.

There's a lot that can go wrong with so much not known right now, but at least Chicago will get some key starters back for the Monday night showdown against the Washington Commanders.
