Well, here we are, picking up the pieces after Chicago Bears starting quarterback Caleb Williams went down with what was originally a pretty scary injury.
Likely to miss some time, but avoiding serious damage, Williams now focuses on rehab and recovery. Meanwhile, the Bears have some big-time questions to answer at quarterback that go even deeper than Williams' absence.
As they get set for a rematch of last year's Black Friday game, the Bears will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3.
For Bears fans, we've got everything you need ahead of this game.

Biggest Chicago Bears storylines heading into Week 3
Who starts at quarterback for the Bears?
At the moment, it is looking like a strong possibility that Case Keenum starts this game. With Williams almost guaranteed to be out and Tyson Bagent in the concussion protocol at least until Saturday, it's all on Keenum right now.
The 38-year-old hasn't started a regular season game since the 2023 season with the Houston Texans and was essentially retired, in his mind, before Ben Johnson called him and persuaded him to come to Chicago as more of a coach and emergency quarterback than anything.
We will see what the aging veteran has left in him, at this point, but the game plan will be a little different as Keenum doesn't have the arm Williams does, nor the mobility.
Can the Bears defensive line take advantage of a questionable Eagles offensive line?
So far, the Bears' defensive line has been underwhelming, to no one's surprise. The Eagles' offensive line, though, is quite a worry for Philly fans.
With Landon Dickerson out, the Eagles moved Cam Jurgens to left guard and Drew Kendall into the starting center position. Previously, Jurgens had never played left guard and this was only Kendall's second start.
The game went rougher than Eagles fans would've liked in terms of the offensive line play, as a whole, in Week 2.
For the Bears, this could mean an advantage for guys like Grady Jarrett, Kentavius Street, Jordan van den Berg, Neville Gallimore and James Lynch.
Is Colston Loveland going to get more involved?
Just one catch for three yards in two games.
Needless to say, Bears fans thought things would go differently for Colston Loveland early on. But, it is early.
With Caleb Williams missing time, Ben Johnson is going to have to get his best playmakers the ball more often than not. Of course, that means running the football, which they'll continue to do. However, this also means giving either Bagent or Keenum some "easy buttons," and that starts with Loveland.
To answer the above question, I have zero doubt in my mind that Loveland is going to get fed the football on Monday night. There is no other option for Ben Johnson. The second-year pro is going to be heavily involved.
Predictions for Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3
Passing yards leader: Jalen Hurts
Rushing yards leader: Kyle Monangai
Receiving yards leader: DeVonta Smith
Who wins the turnover battle: Chicago
Final score prediction: Eagles 27 Bears 23
I can get behind the argument that the Bears will be up for their first game without Williams, but I just think the Eagles are too good of a team, overall, and the Bears missing their quarterback is going to hurt them too much.
The Bears defense makes some plays, but not enough.

In the end, the Bears drop to 1-2 and have a long look in the mirror early on this year.
