It's the news Chicago Bears fans already knew, but it has finally become a reality for them.

The Bears released their Week 14 inactives for their matchup against the Green Bay Packers. There are six total players on the list, including star wide receiver Rome Odunze.

  • Case Keenum, Third QB
  • Tyrique Stevenson, DB
  • Dominique Robinson, DL
  • Rome Odunze, WR
  • Ruben Hyppolite II, LB
  • Jonathan Ford, DL

Odunze will be missing his first NFL game since being selected by the Bears in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It has already been reported that he has been playing through a stress fracture in his foot and is expected to be week-to-week.

Bears have to roll without Rome in the Packers game

Odunze has been the leading receiver for the Bears this season and Caleb Williams' favorite target in the passing game. He has made 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

The good news for the Bears is that they already have a ton of talent among their pass catchers. DJ Moore and Luther Burden III become the top two receivers on the team, while tight ends Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland are expected to get more targets as well.

Other key inactives for the Bears include Stevenson and Hyppolite, who are both missing their second straight games due to injury. Nahshon Wright will replace Stevenson while T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell are back at linebacker for the Bears.

The Bears will be without some key players in what is the most crucial game of the season against the Green Bay Packers. If there is one thing the Chicago Bears have shown throughout the season, it is that they have the depth to get the job done, and everyone has a "next man up" mentality.
