When it comes to the Chicago Bears, when it looks too good to be true, it usually ends up being too good to be true. That is why while fans are excited for the new season they are looking for every small reason for it to fall apart. A recent injury to Luther Burden has had some fans worried, but Ben Johnson has tried to throw some water on the idea

Should Chicago Bears fans be concerned with Luther Burden?

Still, it is going to be hard for Bears fans to shake the idea of a rookie wide receiver missing time early due to an injury. While Burden was not selected as high as Kevin White, they both are starting on that rocky ground. With White, we saw that he started behind, and every time he took one step forward, he took two steps back,

Burden may not have a serious injury and may not end up with the injury prone label, but he is missing valuable time during the first chance he gets to impress the coaching and his teammates. He will have to pick things up on the field a lot quicker.

Given Bears fans have seen how the slow can start can so easily lead to nothing it is easy to understand why the comparison will be quick to find for fans. Beyond that, one of the reasons that Burden fell to Chicago is that some teams were prepared for how he conducts himself.

Does this mean that small injuries lead to missing time more than other players, or that he does not take rest and recovery as seriously leading to more missed time? All of these things seem minor at OTAs, but they add as the NFL is a moving train and Burden currently has not boarded yet.
