One aspect of Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams' game that doesn't get talked about as much is the fact that he can run the football.

During the Bears' Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Williams got to show off the wheels a bit and actually was faster than some thought. He finished that game with a career-high 58 yards on the ground and scored his first career rushing touchdown.

While in recent weeks he's been more in the pocket, Bears fans know that Williams can use his legs when he needs to. They have a potential trap game in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints that might require Williams to run the ball a bit more than he would like, but this could end up being great for him and the Bears.

Williams could be in for a career day on the ground for the Bears

NFL Spin Zone's Ryan Heckman released his weekly bold quarterback predictions and once again added Williams to the list, one he hasn't brought up yet. Heckman likes for Williams to have a career-high in rushing yards, not passing yards.

"Caleb Williams' career-high in rushing came Week 1 of this season when he went for 58 yards against the Minnesota Vikings. The Saints are one of the league's worst rushing defenses.

After a game where the Bears rediscovered their rushing attack behind D'Andre Swift, we'll see another strong game from the veteran running back. However, Williams will end the day with 70-plus yards on the ground. He's coming off a game which saw him hold the ball far too long on a couple of occasions. That'll get cleaned up and he'll find a way to escape, making some plays with his legs."

This season, Williams has rushed 28 times for 108 yards and two touchdowns. He scored his second rushing touchdown of the season in the Bears' 25-24 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 6.

In that same game, the Bears' offensive line had their best performance of the season with the running game. The team ran for a season-high 145 yards and saw D'Andre Swift break loose for 108 yards in the win.

The Bears have the ability to run the ball, which will make the offense more balanced. It's also good news for Williams, as he will have more options in the passing game and get to use his legs more.
