The Chicago Bears needed a last-second field goal from kicker Jake Moody to get their sweet revenge on the Washington Commanders, 25-24.

It wasn't the prettiest win for the Bears, as they had nine penalties for 84 yards and only converted three of 10 third downs. They were able to create three turnovers on Washington to pull out the victory.

There were more winners from this game than losers after a gutsy performance from the team as this is a win that will be remembered for awhile in 2025.

Winner: Tremaine Edmunds, LB

Edmunds has turned things around this season and is playing like the linebacker who was making Pro Bowls with the Buffalo Bills. He led every player with 13 tackles, but the stat line won't show how good he was in coverage and against the run, holding Washington to 124 yards. Edmunds did everything for this defense and has been playing his best football with the Bears this season.

Loser: Nahshon Wright, CB

While things got better for Wright throughout the game, it was still one of the poorest performances of the game. Wright had a couple of penalties called against him, and Washington targeted him in coverage as he was playing too soft on coverage. To his credit, he did get the key fumble recovery on the Commanders' final drive. It wasn't a terrible game from Wright, but he certainly had his struggles.

Winner: D'Andre Swift, RB

Swift went into the game with just 3.2 yards per carry on the season. He finally got the breakout game he's been waiting for with 108 yards rushing and another 67 yards receiving and one touchdown, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. It had been a rough start to his Bears career over the last year plus, but he came up big when he needed to.

Winner: Darnell Wright, OL

What a gutsy performance by Wright, who is coming back from his elbow injury and still wearing that brace. He had some incredible plays on the outside at tackle, and multiple times was the leading blocker for Swift to break out a long run. Wright had a lot of penalties at the beginning of the season, but the Commanders was a statement game for him and how good he can be.

Winner: Jake Moody, K

Of course, the man who won the game for the Bears would be on the list as a winner. Coming fresh off the practice squad, Moody made four of his five field goals, with one of them being blocked. That didn't stop him from making the all-important 38-yarder to close the game and win it for the Bears.
