The Chicago Bears sought revenge after a season-opening loss to the Minnesota Vikings resulted in a collapse. It wasn't the start to the Ben Johnson era that Bears fans expected. The team had won six of their next eight games, putting them in playoff position. In Week 11, the Bears had their chance at redemption against the Vikings.

The Bears survived a late Vikings comeback, orchestrated by quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Trailing 17-16 with less than a minute remaining, Devin Duvernay set the Bears up in great position after a 56-yard kick return. After three plays for a gain of 11 yards, Cairo Santos stepped up and nailed a 48-yard walk-off field goal to pick up the 19-17 win for the Bears.

After the game, Johnson handed a game ball to Santos. The kicker decided to have some fun at the Vikings' expense, as he hit the Griddy dance and the Skol dance in succession.

The Griddy is the dance Jefferson hits after he scores a touchdown in the game. As for the Skol hand motion, that is what Vikings fans use to hype up their team during home games. Santos poured salt in the open wound by hitting both dances in succession as he celebrated with his Bears teammates.

It was quite a turnaround performance for Santos. After making his first three field goal attempts, Santos shanked a 45-yard attempt wide left. But when it mattered most, Santos didn't falter, and it helped the Bears pick up their seventh win of the season, giving them complete control of first place after the Detroit Lions' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Not to mention, the Bears handed the Bears their sixth loss of their season, and their fourth home defeat of the year.

Santos finished the game successfully, converting four of five field goal attempts, with a long of 54 yards, and successfully made his lone extra point attempt.
