Chicago Bears fans are excited for what Year 2 of the Caleb Williams experiment will bring and why shouldn't they be? The Bears stole Ben Johnson away from the Detroit Lions and are hoping that he can unharness everything that Williams has to offer as he enters his key sophomore season in the NFL.
Fans are also looking forward to Year 3 of D.J. Moore as a member of the Bears offense and hope that Johnson can get him and Williams even more on the same page. Moore had a solid first year with Williams as his quarterback, finishing the year just shy of 1,000 yards and scoring six touchdowns.
Well, if OTAs are any indication, the Williams-Moore connection is already going to be must-see TV for not just Bears fans but the rest of the NFL as well. Bears fans were treated to a clip of a throw from Williams that saw Moore go airborne to snag it. It was absolute insanity but the good kind.
Bears fans will love recent clip of Caleb Williams throw to D.J. Moore
The Bears offense struggled during Williams' rookie season but the hope is that with Johnson running the show plus an improved offensive line will make a huge difference. Moore only had two games in 2024 where he went for over 100 yards receiving so hopefully he can become an even bigger part of the offense this year.
The Bears also added Luther Burden III in the draft and have Rome Odunze coming back for his second season in the league. The hope is that with all of these weapons, Williams can finally cook the way fans were hoping he would in Year 1.
Moore's crazy catch in that clip should have fans fired up for what is hopefully going to be a special season for not just him and Williams but the entire Chicago Bears offense as well. Fingers crossed.
