Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams can be a fireball on the sidelines when he is mad about something, but to see him emotional in a different sense is an odd thing to see.

There were a lot of emotions after the Bears came back from being down by 18 points in the second half to beat the Green Bay Packers 31-27 in the NFC Wild Card. Williams showed that when he was visibly mad at the team on the sidelines, he was in a completely different state in the locker room afterwards.

On the Bears' social media page, as they do after every win, they show Bears head coach Ben Johnson's speech to the team, the game balls, and everyone's favorite "Good, Better, Best" speech. When Johnson gave one of the game balls to Williams, the star quarterback took some extra time to make sure to pay tribute to the head coach for winning his first playoff game by sharing what he means to him.

"Look at this guy right here," Williams said via ESPN's Courtney Cronin. "Everything he’s done for us as a coach, everything the other coaches have done for us. And it started with him, with bringing everybody and all of that. For me personally, he’s been monumental in my life so far."

Caleb Williams opening up in a way Bears fans have not seen before

Bears fans can tell what Johnson has meant to Williams in his young career. While there might not have been love and respect there at the beginning in training camp, Johnson has certainly earned Williams' respect and admiration over the course of the season.

The Bears' win over the Packers is a perfect example of their relationship, as even though Williams completed just 50% of his passes, he still threw for 361 yards and two touchdowns, with two interceptions. Not a perfect game, but Johnson's change to Williams didn't rattle the star quarterback and led to some of the best throws of his career.

As everyone has been saying all season, this is not the old Bears everyone remembers. This team is here to stay because of the work Johnson has done with the team and the players, including Williams. The players, including Williams, are appreciative of the impact he has made on the franchise, and the fan base shares that same emotion and love.
