It's becoming clear that Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is good at football, as it took only one play to put him ahead of most signal-callers in the NFL.
During the third quarter of the Bears' 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, Williams rolled out of the pocket and was able to somehow thread the needle to DJ Moore in the back of the end zone in double coverage for a 22-yard touchdown pass. It was a play that had everyone going crazy and wondering what just happened.
After the game, reporters asked Williams about that throw. The young quarterback's response was about as excellent an answer as any he has given in his two years in Chicago.
"I can make any throw."

Caleb Williams has earned the right to show off his swagger
Bears fans keep being impressed by Williams's play, despite some developmental work needed in his game. He finished the Browns contest, completing 60% of his passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. Williams also ran for 13 yards on three carries.
Overall, it was one of Williams's best performances in the Ben Johnson era, as he looked solid. Sure, there were a few throws that could have been picked off, but Williams was able to find more open receivers than he has over the last month.
Even with Browns defensive end Myles Garrett in the face of Williams throughout the game, the young quarterback still handled the pressure better than he has this season. He used his legs to give him time to make throws, and he was smart with the football, with zero turnovers in the game.

The confidence is clearly there for Williams, and he has every right to feel that way after his outstanding performance. Week 16 will give him a chance to get some revenge on the Green Bay Packers for the right to own first place in the NFC North.
