Chicago Bears fans have to be feeling good after their team dominated the Cleveland Browns 31-3 for their 10th win of the season.
It was an impressive performance by the offense and defense, as Chicago's defense allowed just 192 total yards and forced three turnovers. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a stellar game with 242 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
While the Bears' performance was fantastic, there was one aspect of the game that was just as good, if not better, than the victory. Chicago's win has officially eliminated NFC North division rival Minnesota Vikings from the playoffs.
Vikings will be watching the postseason from home after Bears win
Minnesota needed the Bears to lose as part of its slim hopes of making the playoffs. Chicago made sure that didn't happen in the most dominating way.
This season, in their two matchups, the Vikings won the first meeting 27-24 in Week 1. Chicago would get their revenge with a game-winning Cairo Santos field goal to beat Minnesota 19-17.
It was an excellent win for the Bears, as they secured a double-digit blowout and stayed ahead of the other teams in the NFC. Chicago has to win one more game to ensure it is in the postseason, as the conference is so competitive in the Wild Card and the NFC North.
Chicago now shifts their focus to another NFC North rival, the Green Bay Packers, on a short week in primetime. The Bears must beat the Packers if they want a real shot at winning the division and officially control their own destiny.

Bears fans can feel so good about winning this game for their own playoff hopes, but they can also feel good about the fact that they have ruined the Vikings' shot at getting into the postseason.
