The Chicago Bears are done with OTAs and won't be back at work until late next month for training camp as the team better be ready to put in the work.
After going 11-6 and making the NFC Divisional Round last year, the intensity is about to be turned up from a seven to a 10 under Bears head coach Ben Johsnon. While speaking to the media, Johnson made it know what is about to come and that his team is ready for it.
"You got to pay a price, you got to make deposits if you want to have success in this league," Johnson said via 104.3 The Score's Chris Emma. "I've been in it 15 years now, and I don't think there's any way you can cut corners and expect to win on Sundays. ... Our type of guys, they embrace it, they want it."
Bears about to sacrifice a lot to win a Super Bowl
The taste of success has been enough to change the way the Bears' mindsets are going into the 2026 season. They had to learn seven times last year how to come from behind and win games with their backs against the wall, which came in handy for the 18-point comeback win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card.
This Bears team is different from the ones fans have seen in the past, as they hold each other accountable for their actions and have built a brand-new culture. That culture is that they must win a game, no matter how they look or no matter how it goes.
Last year, the Bears found out how intense training camp was under Johnson, as he was not afraid to yell at his quarterback, Caleb Williams, and kick his starters off the field if they weren't doing something right. That kind of intensity has to be back for the Bears in 2026 training camp, as it clearly showed to have worked for the team.

The Bears better enjoy their time off while they can as once training camp gets underway, the only thing that matters is winning the Super Bowl at all cost no matter what happens on the team as the city has been craving the Lombardi Trophy in Chicago since the 80s.
