Caleb Williams sent his critics a message without actually sending one at all

That's our QB.

This is a topic that isn't going to go away. Caleb Williams continues to hear his fair share of critics chirping on a daily and weekly basis. One Chicago Bears comeback victory after another, one mesmerizing throw after another and ... they're still at his throat.

Just as we've come to know well, though, it doesn't matter all that much to the man himself. Williams is essentially immune to the criticism and doubters at this point, and he proved it once again in his latest time with the media.

When asked about his doubters and proving them wrong, he had a simple response:

"It's not about that. I know who I am."

This might be a bit hyperbolic, but with the magnitude of where the Bears are at in the postseason and what he just did against Green Bay last weekend, this is a total mic-drop moment.

Caleb Williams will just keep dropping the mic all around critics until they finally get it

This past week, it was fun to watch how many Packers reporters, media members and fans took to social media to try and criticize Williams after the comeback win. It's truly hard to do, but they find ways.

Probably the easiest avenue is to go after his completion percentage. It's the low-hanging fruit; let's call it what it is.

To some extent, the completion percentage matters. There are some misses on tape. Williams isn't perfect. He also throws it away, on a regular basis, rather than taking sacks. Take that into consideration, for what it's worth.

But, the critics do have a point. His completion percentage is low.

At the same time, his "WOW!" percentage might be the highest in the league this season, playoffs included thus far. It's hard to get too mad at a guy who continually brings his team back and leads them to victory in crunch time.

And, it says everything about Williams to continue to shrug off his critics. The confidence is just oozing out of him and that's been evident since Day 1. He was made for the spotlight. He was made for pressure situations.

They don't call him the "Ice Man" for nothing.

No matter how this postseason ends, one thing has been made abundantly clear: Caleb Williams has arrived. Like him or not, low completion percentage or not, he has arrived.

Don't like the love for fashion or painted nails? Tough luck. Chicago's QB1 said it all, above. He knows who he is.

And, quite frankly, what anybody else thinks ...

It doesn't matter.
