The Chicago Bears are starting to get a little more active with the roster moves, as they have added some key pieces to the team.
Chicago announced that the team has signed four players to the roster: two wide receivers and two linebackers. Here are the players that are being brought to the team:
- WR Kyron Hudson
- LB Wayne Matthews III
- WR Scotty Miller
- LB Jon Rhattigan
Bears sign four players to the roster in 2026
Miller is the biggest name on the list as the move becomes official after that was reported over the weekend. He's an NFL veteran who can compete for a spot on the team as a slot receiver. Last season, he caught just nine passes for 62 yards, with four of those receptions going for first downs.
Hudson was an undrafted free agent who spent last year with Penn State after attending USC the previous year. He finished the 2025 campaign with 23 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
Matthews is another undrafted free agent entering his first NFL season, having been a member of the Michigan State Spartans for the last two years. He racked up 73 tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception last year.
Rhattigan is a five-year veteran who has played in regular season games for four NFL teams. In 65 career games, he has posted 50 tackles and one fumble recovery.

The Bears brought in a nice mix of veterans and undrafted rookies to bring their roster up to 90 players before they start minicamp in the next few weeks. This will not be the end of the Bears' roster moves as Chicago still has a lot of work to do in the upcoming months.
